Hi Everyone
I've been following this forum for 2 weeks or so. Coming from a Defender 90 its great to find a site for passionate Discovery owners!
Got my new TDV6 S on Friday. This is the new spec S with specs close to the previous SE. What a fantastic car, nothing else compares! Only problem so far is a steering wheel that is slightly off-centre.
I drove straight from LR Centurion to trade the Wranglers for Cooper Discoverer ATR tyres. For what we want to do this offers IMO the best compromise between tar and offroad. They are also a bit wider 255/65/17.
I took some pictures with my camera phone - not very good quality, but anyway Louis

I wish I had done the VpS or similar before my first trip, cos then it was too late. even with great polishing by woodmead, you can see the car has seen action. would be great if they had a product to protect the plastics too
BTw in the latest "car" mag there is another product advertised as well. Remap and TTBox available for most vehicles

I feel the same - will take my D3 to Baben's friend for a polish and if the result warrants it will go VPS route.
Just returned from Tour de Kruger where we supported cyclists on a 4 day cycle tour through thick bush - thank goodness I took the Defender it now looks like Zebra camouflage. D3 S '07. Dual battery system. Upgraded tow hitch. Mantec skid plate. Frontrunner rr.
