Just got my car back from the dealers after having work carried out and I have noticed the drivers door wont lock, But if I lock the car and open the Drivers door the alarm still goes off hmmm strange any help would be great

If the dealer wasn't work on that door for a reason I guess they have inadvertently messed it up when plug into the diagnostic kit. A trip back to the dealers to be re-pluged in seems the only option. Silver TDV6 S with sat nav, PTI and Moosed up a bit

OK maybe not quite the same but I had a problem after my car came back from the panelbeaters. The door wouldn't lock or unlock at all . Turned out they had not assembled the locking mechanism properly and the barrel (IIRC) had moved inside the door . They had to re - assemble the whole thing to get it to work .

Thanks for the response's i will investigate further.Also i contacted the dealer and they told me to bring it back next Thursday so i cant lock my Disco for a week and in Liverpool what a combination!!!!  Steve Smith
