Looking good Thumbs Up

Did you splice into the ACM wires or the ones direct at the back of the radio?
Have you got an updated version of the bits you used? Not that I'd want to plaguarise or copy you...... Whistle Whistle Whistle

No need to break into the ACM / head unit wires for that project. The connections are made direct to the aux inputs of the ACM. I used some mono 3.5mm to phono connectors, and soldered the bits and pieces together on a bit of breadboard.

The clever bits were two sound activated relays from http://www.simplecircuitboards.com/HauntedHouse.html The seller, Jeff, will only post to a US address because of previous problems posting abroad, so you'll need a friend in the states to receive and send on.

Bobbycrispbox,

Someone may have already asked you this question? But where did you buy the carpet from as it looks a very good match. I'm looking for carpret myself for a different project.

Thanks in advance.

Carpet came from audioscape - http://www.audioscape.co.uk. They also have an ebay shop under the name jamesscape / AS-Essentials http://stores.ebay.co.uk/AS-Essentials.

The match is OK but not perfect. Disco carpet is a lighter shade ("charcoal" vs "black") and seems to be of a higher quality.

Thanks to 10forcash, DiscoStu, christyler and countless others, too numerous to list here, phase one of the boot box project is complete. More pics in the gallery

You know you always have a few bits and pieces left over when you finish... Well I've ended up with a couple of spare buttons
