| Costco November deal - 20% off 4 tyres |
|
The title says it all! The deal lasts from the last week in October to the third in November. It's in the new book of vouchers which arrived today. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they're not out to get you.

Since when were CostCo in Blighty?
I'd never heard of them until I came to the US - you saying they're invading the UK now? WOW! 08 LR3 SE - 02 D2 SE7

yep, 1st costco at watford way I think since 1990 ish
been a costco in Bristol since 2000
The best thing is the lifetime warranty on most goods. Basically you buy something, get bored with it and return it for your money back at any time Duncan

Agreed - warranty is brill - and free AFAIK on stuff - I shaved £200 off my big telly getting it from CostCo instead of Dixons/Currys/Comet - an dthey have great big US style parking bays as well Steve N | 2006 TDV6 S Auto in Buckingham Blue | Member of the top ten club | Am I online?

Used the tyre deal today!
£116 for 4 Michelin Energy tyres fully fitted, valves, balanced etc
... for a Vauxhall Corsa sadly, not a D3
Oh and my big telly seems to developing a fault when it gets warm too - theres an odd randum blue paint brush effect in a small segment top right of screen might have to call in on that warranty Steve N | 2006 TDV6 S Auto in Buckingham Blue | Member of the top ten club | Am I online?

its a good deal on the tires at Costco
I bought 4 a couple of years ago, with the 20% discount, only fitted 2 to the car that i had
Than was wrote off a month later
Took the 2 tires back to Costco and got a full refund, at the full price too , I told them they was bought as a set of four in the deal, but they didn't seam bothered

Costco in Aberdeen will only do Michelin Lattitude which look 100% road biased. Anyone used these and can advise on expected mileages etc. I've just about got 12k miles on the original Scorpions and I need a lot more out of the next set.
Good news with Costco is that I can buy these now at the cheap price (£576 for the 4 inc VAT) and arrange whenever I need them. Offer is on until 23/11.

The Michelin's are brilliant on road, very quiet and last for ages.
I put a full set on my D2 for under £250 (not on the D3 unfortunately)
OK off road, at least as good as the Scorpions. TDV6 HSE - Light Guards - White Reflective Sticker & that something extra
No Jetboil (yet) Edit: Jetboil now arrived, whoopie!!

Dexter I bought 255/60-18's from Costco Aberdeen a month or so ago, they are a top class tyre, much better onroad than the Scorpion and in the snow we had earlier this week I had no problem with them, well worth the money.
I think these will outlast the scorpions as they hardely look hardly scrubbed in yet.
Costco Aberdeen provided a great service, they let me buy the tyres last July when the offer was last on and I only got them fitted early October.

When I asked at Costco Reading I was told that I could buy the tyres but I would have to take them away immediately. I could then take them back at any time for fitting. Too much palaver. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they're not out to get you.
