Hi all. Since I had my last service, when I start the disco in the mornings, it runs rough until it warms up. After that all is ok untill the next morning. Anyone else had this problem, or is it a fault.

You're not doing well with the transmission as well.
Mine had a rough idle issue and other poor performance issues, happened in cold weather, turned out to be corrupted software file. Recently also had a TSB for fuel pressure done which helped as well. Getting there is half the fun

I just replaced my air filter, as I had rough start problems and now their gone away.
It will only take you 20 min to check it out for yourself, all that is required is a phillips head screwdriver.

Yes I have the rough idle problem while the engine is coldish. Goes away after it comes up to operating temperature. The idle can be so rough that it can shake the vehicle side to side while waiting at the lights. Most times it just gently rocks the vehicle.
As the warranty was about to expire took it into the dealers who had the vehicle for 2 days, 'playing around with the fuel injection'. Diagnosis after the 2 days was that the turbo was not providing enough pressure and an order for a new turbo was placed. Also ECU was 'reset'.
Eventually the turbo arrived and fitted, another 2 days. For a few days it seemed to run OK at idle when cold (temp gauge just lifting off the bottom stop position or driven about 2 km). Then it returned but not as violent, just enough to be annoying for a vehicle of this calibre. (' ')
Also about this time the suspension started to play up, when dropping to access height it would occasionally decide to go to off road height, just when I hit the bump going into the garage! (Yes and collected the garage door!)
Last 'free' servie came up and reported the rough idle and the access height problems.
Explaination on the rough idle, 'just added some files that were missed out'. This tends to tie up with caverD3's experience, but not happy about corrupt files explaination. So with the 'missed out' files in place it seemed to be OK for a couple of days and then suspension put the vehicle into dragster mode! So back to the dealers - again! (lucky the are next door to where I work) (' ')
New Compressor required!! did not make sence as the rear still managed to rasie and lower! So with a 'new compressor' fitted it ran for about a week and the suspension fault occurred again. Noted that it tends to occur in driving wind and rain. The next day it was sunny and the fault went away. So back to the dealers and they bound a wiring harness near the fron left wheel up so that it was weather proof. Something to do with the sensor harness.
Have benn running for about 2 weeks, all seem fine and permagrin was beginning to return - and guess what happened this evening while wait at the lights after driving about 1 km! 'Rock the boat baby' tune comes to mind. Once up to operating temperature it all seems fine.
So I will be keen to hear about others who have experiences with rough idle when the engine is cold. Only done about 32 km so it's virtually a new engine. There has to be a simple answer - is there one?

CL.
I now have been told there is a TSB (LTB00047v2) that is what I believe is my fault, when I drive the 550km, they will fix it..

My cold idle occured shortly after the ehancement was carried out. There have been some instances of the software not taking properly when this was done could explain some of CLs issues. suspension issues should have dealt with this along with hesitation and gear change issues. The enhancement was suposed to have stripped the old software completely and instlled the new, if not done properly it could be causing all sorts of issues down the track. Getting there is half the fun
