MY09 production has been brought forward

I placed an order for a Disco3 V6SE back in April and was told the MY08 car would be built in June.

This morning, I have been advised by the dealer that the car has arrived, and it's a MY09 model with colour coded bumpers and wheel arches. Shocked Rear mudflaps are now deleted but HI-ICE pack is now standard so i'm still in front after the increase on both RRP and LCT. Whistle Anyway, if anyone here who has placed an order after April, don't be surprised if the car is now a MY09 rather than MY08.

Btw, I have ordered a set of dark side repeaters for the car but since it now comes with clear lens, they are no use to me. Anyone interested? Paid $80.00 and after $60.00 plus postage.

How did they get that past ADRs I thought they were required due to our unsealed roads?

Hi ICE ( $3860 ) as standard is a rather interesting inclusion.
That's the same as including Rear Air and Cold Climate Pack FREE . Confused

I think we'd all rather have the latter than the HiFi........ the HiFi really only costs
a few hundred more to produce ........ manufactured cost is peanuts for car music stuff..... hence the
RRP is total Bu Censored t really.

Dont worey about the mud flaps, the LR ones are Censored . Have a look at what others have done on this forum to replace the genuine ones that brake the first time you go off road.

Cheers

That's why I didn't get the Hi Ice too much for not a lot. Rolling Eyes
Don't have rear air and have found I don't need it, maybe if you have the glass roof or had seven up often you would.
Tell me about the mud flaps. Rolling Eyes repaired and modified my sand ploughs after first off rooad trip.
Just thought they were a legal requirement in OZ? Question

I also ordered an SE back in may,and that it would be 2009 spec, and was supposed to pick it up on the 25/8, the vehicle has arrived and is in brisbaine, but they wont release it until 1/10 as they say that they wanted to get rid of 08 stock, find this strange as I only wanted the 2009 spec for the freeby stereo and paint job. have also been given details of the car and its build date is 6 month and is also 2009 spec, hav'nt seen any good photos of one yet Exclamation

Rear Mudflaps are just not available yet, it's because the front ones are not changed by the front bumper design, but rears need to be re-designed. They will be available soon Whistle

Have picked up the MY09 this arvo, the real car looks heaps better than the photos.

Got the front mudflaps on the car but still awaiting the rear ones though. The dealer has placed the order for those but don't know when they will be arrived.
