| Not Yeovil again......?!!! |
|
My 30,000 2nd service is due shortly.
My 1st service went OK, but I was a bit worried & had to get LRCS involved to resolve wiper issue. but overall an OK experience.
I've booked my Disco in with Nick at Yeovil 1st October & I've already got a nice warm feeling & really don't feel concerned about the service or about any problems getting fixed.
It's just such a great feeling to know that although I'm parting with a load of dosh for a service (but of course at a good price ) I feel quite happy about it. Quite a suprise as I don't like spending money normally
I fully anticipate the positive feeling to be there after the service as well
With a round trip of 425 miles (taking in the Southern meet on 31st Sep as well) it's a hell of a way to go for service, but I think it will be worth it.

Only another 11,896 miles to go and mine will need its first service at Yeovil
In the meanwhile tell Keiron we'll have a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea in the YLR tintent at the Dorchester show on Saturday Carbon footprint? I neither know nor give a damn

Might just make it before you leave, otherwise I will see you next time. I may have to collect my car Saturday morning anyway in case they can't get it done in time, so if your around then I can say hello. Thanks again for sorting out the bits for me.

Glad you didn't hang on Nick, had a nightmare trip to Yeovil due to the torrential rain and a huge amount of traffic and accidents as a result. What should have taken less than 2 hours took more than 3.5 hours.
Huge apology to the service team for my lateness, most people would have told me to rebook or off, but they changed their schedule round and fitted me in. Was a relief as we are in a hotel in Chard to make a weekend of it and it would have been a bit of a wasted trip if we had to come back again.
Not sure if your in Saturday, but if you are I will see you then.
On top of fitting me in at the very last minute, they also gave me a nice Range Rover TDV8 as well to use. Will be speaking to the sales guys tomorrow about a FL2 to replace the Qashqai, assuming we can get rid of the Qashqai
Yeovil
EDIT: Still raining by the way

Glad to hear the standards at Yeovil haven't dropped. I shall no doubt be phoning them to arrange a 3rd (45k) service and MOT on mine very soon, assuming their prices haven't gone silly.
