SummarySummary:
A customer may report a concern that the engine idle quality is poor for 10 to 25 seconds after starting from cold for the first time during the day. No poor idle or power loss is experienced after the first initial cold start of the day and all other engine starts of the day, whether the engine is warm or hot, do not result in the same poor idle quality.
This Version of the bulletin has been issued to inform Authorized Repairers to destroy or clearly mark LS303-019 to show that it is no longer valid.
CauseCause: Contamination (debris/dirt or corrosion) in the fuel injectors affects injector spray and delivery rate. Contamination ingress can occur during various operations such as vehicle maintenance or repair and running on contaminated fuel. An injector with damaged internal sealing will also result in unmetered fuel entering the intake manifold.
ActionAction: Should a customer express concern regarding the above, refer to the Diagnostic Procedure detailed in this bulletin to establish the root cause of the issue.

Mines going in for a service on 8th and I'll be asking them.
Judders on start up when cold. Getting there is half the fun

Once, when I had my D3 in for some non-warranty work, the service centre contacted me to say that the injectors were showing as out of spec. When I expressed surprise, they said that it wouldn't have been enough for me to notice.
They replaced the injectors under warranty. (Trivetts Parramatta (Sydney)).

Be a couple of weeks before i go, I just ran a fuel system cleaner through over the last 2 weeks with 200L of diesel and it is sweeter and smoother than ever. Nulon. Seems to work well. TDV6 S. Air Susp, locking Diff, Warn Winch, ARB bar, IPF lights, dual bats, G4 ladder, Frontrunner roofrack, rear wheel carrier, long range tank, Hannibal awning, 240V inverter, Cooper ST's, UHF, HF-VKS737 N3559

ianv. Did the same, with no improvement. may be you have the same fault that Disco 2 had, only running with a half full tank for a long time, a waxy solution runs in into the filter (both filter and pump replaced), very expensive when your away on a trip.
