I'm taking delivery of a G4 defender soon, and it has G4 logo'd plates on it - very nice. The dealer has contacted the previous owner who says he got them from ezy plates, which seems to be an Aussie site. Any idea if they can be sourced in the uk? I've just joined the G4 Site so will post this there soon, but this is the font of all knowledge, and a few other things...
TIA

As of 1st Nov all new number plates will have to be supplied WITHOUT Logo's, Dealer name and anything else that currently gets printed on.
All that will be allowed is Manufacturer (That's the plate) details and postcode of the supplier.... You want it for how much !!!!!
Handle every situation like a dog, if you can't eat it or hump it, Pi$$ on it and walk away......

So, what are the restrictions in the interim? Can we have USA type plates such as : CHESHIRE (on the top) and on the bottom : HOME OF FAT COWS.
I quite fancy that idea.

All you will be able to do is replace the dealers name with the plate suppliers name and postcode. Silver TDV6 S with sat nav, PTI and Moosed up a bit

Bob,
bet you bought it from James edwards in Chester.....
Do you want the Destek chip I took off before selling it to them!
I had a phone call today from JE, asking where I got those plates from..
I can honestly say that the G4 was a top machine, and the only reason I part ex'd it was that I like to do long distance driving, with 4 peole plus loads of luggage, so a bit tight! and the fact that I took a shine to a very well specced D3....
Enjoy it...I did.

Hey!! I was wondering if you inhabited this forum! Good luck with the D3, and you will love it! You will also find JE in Chester entirely friendly - and very supportive. I have got to know them very well over the past 3 years. Yes, I have purchased your G4, - you certainly looked after it!! Anyway will pm you in a few mins! Thanks for the contact.
