if you turn up the sound really loud, you can just about hear the time honored phrase from the crown

... something like

clacking bell

or something
..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

Good on him for trying, but the lesson I would say is to fit a roll-cage and improved seat and full harness to a Defender if you're going to drive it with such vigour on rough terrain. (Come to think of it, a roll cage might be a good idea anyway.) The person who thought up the title is a bit of a wally - no one would rely on aluminium to withstand that beating. It doesn't follow the Land Rovers are Censored .

Having got stuck on a loose gravel, rutted slope this autumn, I'm very nervous about reversing and sliding sideways, even with a spotter to help control the descent.

I think that a D3 would be very well trashed, but I guess that the monococque would leave you some headroom even after several rolls?

Edited to say that he didn't actually reverse ... more like fell over backwards with no hint of control ... Shocked

Idiotic driver, no skill, and more worried for the little boy that witnessed his fathers pride n joy destroyed through bravardo.

Glad he let out the little boy 1st.

And did you hear the poor lad crying for his dad as he rolled down the hill Shocked Shocked I bet he was scared silly thinking his dad would be all smashed up.

Sorry - but he was a bit remiss taking his young son on an event like that considering what could have happened Rolling Eyes

Glad he was OK though.

The most un-nerving thing about that is the son crying with fright and panic at the end....that's not good Neutral

So what caused it ...speed ? Gravity ? idiotness?

Seems that as soon as his front wheels returned to the ground at slightly the wrong angle...the weight of the engine drew it round and it was goodnight mr.chips Rolling Eyes
