| Disco 3 Day at LRE Dunkeld |
|
Hi all, i have spoken to the people at LRE Dunkeld and they are going to run a Disco 3 day on the 16th Nov.
It will be more challenging than their standard open vehicle days but not extreme.
We need a min of 7 Vehicles and a max of 12 to make it work
Price is £100 per vehicle and you can have as many passengers as legal.
To book you Need to call Highland off road on 01350 728700.
The fee is non refundable.
Day normally starts at 9.30 and finishes about 4.30.
LRE instructors will be on hand for advice and to answer questions.
I am not connected with LRE and do not gain in any way through this.
Once you have booked and paid please sign up.
It should be a good day out for all. Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

I'm working that weekend Need detailing or cleaning products, drop me a pm for forum discount prices.
If you dont want to clean it yourself, give me a shout for a quote on your detailing requirements. From a simple valet to machine polishing to remove bramble rash and swirl marks.

Been keeping an eye on this one. I'm not sure we'll be able to come up in the D3 then although if I'm free I might be able to drive up myself but it would only be to spectate/photograph as I wont have the Land Rover.
Would have to decide nearer the time. DISCO3's Student Correspondent...

Hi Cy this is not an exclusive D3 event.
any 4x4 can come(meaning landrover excluding Freelanders) the event was organised for people who dont mind getting stuck or pulling their vehicles out
after my last post re Dunkeld i thought there might be enough interest for a D3 meet, be it Scottish or those "further south"
i might be taking along a couple of Mountain Rescue 110's to help fill the spaces.
Just thought there would be enough Scottish interest to fill it up as we dont have "greenlanes "here.
Anyway off to bed,got to pack for a weekend drinking in Crieff, now where is that hip flask Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

I'd be in a small Renault hatchback so maybe not ideal Dunkeld material but I'll keep you posted nearer the time... Will pass the message on to other Scottish off-roader colleagues DISCO3's Student Correspondent...
