sorry guys, been working,
to answer the question re the plate next to the ebd, when highways are at an incident, they dont sit in the vehicle (H&S), so that is where a button sits that allows them to keep the engine running (to keep the flashing lights powered) and not have to keep the keys in It would have been taken out when the vehicle was de-comissioned..
That 55 plate D3 would be prefect for anyone who wishes to use the vehicle for hire & reward as you can re-tro fit an analogue tachograph. Anything after 1st May 2006 has to have a digital tacho which you cant fit in a d3.
Having had mine since a similar mileage and I paid alittle less than that, plus vat as I bought it direct from HA, this looks like someone has bought this white one for themselves so you couldnt claim the vat back, they are ACE for pulling.
I'm coming up to 240,000, yes 240 THOUSAND miles by the end of next week!!! We've had him on the road since early jan 08
so the answer is BUY IT if you are going to tow for hire or reward
