Whats the going rate for the first year service Local dealer says £350 it seems high to me any views folks??

going rate should be £240-£280 (i paid £245).....get a few quotes from around the country and getwhoever you choose to pricematch the cheapest.... 06 Zermatt 7 seat auto with PDC and privacy

Hi,
I have phones yesterday some dearler and one of them told me that 1st service was at 12 000 miles...
I though it was 15 000 miles.
Can you confirm which one the correct one?

First service is 15k or 12 months. My ex Demo car displayed service needed 9 months (9500 miles) after first registration. Apparently its system had been reset when it had a PDI when it was put in the showroom.
Anyway the dealer in Huddersfield quoted me 260 pounds and also arranged a loan car (Fiesta) for the day. Pretty good I reckon as I had been quoted 350 by others. D3 TDV6 GS Manual Java Black

That what I though!
Now I know I will not go to service before 15000 (or 12 month)!
My service meter does show that I have to go in 13 days!!! even if it is not 12 month in 13 days and it has only 12000 miles!!! strange!!!!

mmm I just paid £339 for my 1st service. Shukers have put up their rates since D3's number 1's first. Was £169 then I think 
Mind you.
The loaner I had for the day was a FFRR TDV8 Vogue with all the toys - TV, reversing camera etc etc.

I got a 1.0 fiesta from the same place - with a god awful blue dash board. Silver TDV6 S with sat nav, PTI and Moosed up a bit

Ah yes... the silver one they have in Ludlow and Shrewsbury I believe.
We had that one last week when the Freelander 1 went in for a service... only due to them running out of loan cars though. We usually get a D3 or FL2.
They ran out again this week... so I got the "for V8 upgrades only" FFRR
Fantastic interior, fantastic engine... shame about the exterior though  D3 with FFRR interior and that V8 diesel would be tops.
Which branch do you use ?
