Yep, the end of the wing (bottom of the "L") is where is shows to be identical to the D3.
Thats what did it for me too - which is why I posted the clip of the current model to show it Steve N | 2006 TDV6 S Auto in Buckingham Blue | Member of the top ten club | Am I online?

The vertical panels that the lights cut into are narrower on the silver model.
Also, it sweeps down below the headlamp bottom level.
Very similar though
You're quite right - bumper, lights and grill have all changed proportions
If this is a D3 styling refresh, it's a very clever move. Nice new look without having to change anything major.
Just hoping it's not been done by the same bloke who did the 09 rear bumper Paul

RR... who? L32..what??
Looks like dotted rings of LEDs around the lights on the RRS.
I think they will do the same to the FFRR.
The new D3 face will look fabulous in my opinion.
The disco will gain more status to fill up the gap that FFRR has left since the introduction of the TDV8
If you read the thoughts of the LR marketing boys you will come to this conclusion
Land Rover technology + Space + Luxury + Competitive price= DISCOVERY 3
To many FFRR TD6 owners buy BMW X5 at this moment. 05 TDV6 HSE AUTO 7seats, tonga green/alpaca, alpine roof, privacy glass, tow kit, wood kit, 20" stormers n summer, 18" in winter
