All my sunglasses that are polorised have this problems
Polorised glasses work by blocking out either horizontal or vertical transmitted light thats how they take out more of the dazzling effect such a sun reflecting of the water.
I just tilt my head a few degrees to the side to make things visable
It also makes some car side windows laminate stand out too, or make them appear a purple sort of colour

My Oakleys do the same to the stereo. Annoying first time I looked, don't even notice it now . . . "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Does anyone know a solution (other than replacing the radio)?
Just when I thought I'd heard it all
Could try these instead

Sadly cheap sunnies probably won't have my prescription fitted
Think I'm stuck with it as is!

I use a polarising filter on my camera sometimes and is not a cheap item and have pics showing the message centre clear whilst the display right next to it is black so it is not just the radio. I find the most important thing is can I hear the radio

I bought my Polarized RayBans at San Francisco airport. They have what looks like a metal coloured fish on the wall. As soon as you look through it with polarized glasses it becomes multi coloured. Very clever selling tool until you get in your D3 and see all Global Warming.... I'm luvvin it.
