I am probably going to ask a very stupid question here.. But, is it possible to watch a TV signal in a D3 HSE? If so, how exactly? It made me so angry, I went out and got myelf a dog, just so i could kick it!!!!

Don't think it was available until 07MY so chances are you haven't got it, would be an option somewhere on the nav screen if you did. Retrofitting the LR kit is probably going to be difficult and expensive, TBH if you're that desperate to watch TV in the vehicle buy yourself one of the after market kits available

I had it on the loan FFRR from Yeovil and the reception was incredible, love to know what they use as an aerial. I even tried it as we drove along (screen switches off, but sound stays) and over 10 miles it didn't loose reception.
I take it you got your new car then

In a FFRR I had when mine went in
I had the complete opposite, TV reception was very sketchy, I put it down to the Freeview signal and it needing to be a strong signal

I watched Top Gear at the top of the Kirkstone pass, so did consider paying for the TV in the new car - but refrained. Next time "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."
