Tragic
I know it's a big truck, but, a bit disappointing to see how little the central crash barrier helped? Paul

Looks like a front tyre let go....I am a truck driver too, when a front tyre lets when on speed limiter, full freighted you are just a passenger, nowt you can do.
Brings it home to you really, I do my tyre checks every morning and all it needs is a bit of debris during that day and Bang!!!!!game over PERMANENTLY IN THE SITE NAUGHTY CORNER

The whole of the UK is moving towards concrete wall \ step type barriers that you can now see on the M25 for example...these can restrain up to 13.5 tonnes. The traditional armco type barriers offer surprising little resistance ...single armco is designed to restrain 1.5tonne impact at a 20 degree angle...single box armco 5 tonne at 20 deg and double box 10 tonne at 20 deg. It's easy to see that if you clout the traditional stuff head on there s a fair chance you would go through. Powered by TorqTune

The chap is asking what a video of 7 people dying has to do with a Land Rover Discovery website?

Well for a start it's in "off topic" so like everything in that category it has feck all to do with Land Rover Discoverys
I did not post this to make light of the deaths of individuals but more so to show the unexpected dangers we all face when driving. It is in the public domain and was shown on the Italian news. If you don't like it don't watch it ....but don't start trying to censor my posts chap .... that is the job of the mods Powered by TorqTune

It's coming up to September 11th ...so I would advise you don't watch the TV for the next few weeks in case you see footage of the towers coming down
Good job you are a welshman otherwise you would have an extra helping of 'telling off' Powered by TorqTune
