Hi All.
I am considering adding some chrome to my Disco3, and wondered if anyone knew of a good place to buy. Looking at the chrome backing for side mirrors, air intake etc. Stealer prices are crazy. There are a few offers out there on non-LR kit but not sure how good it is... It made me so angry, I went out and got myelf a dog, just so i could kick it!!!!

Be wary of buying "cheap" mirror covers of flebay....I did that mistake, they were very poor copies, scratched and the chrome was alful.
not saying that all of the cheapies are like this but be aware.
I eventually bought a pair from Land Rover, which were excellent and fitted purfectly, and ironically not that much more than the elledged cheapy!
You pays yer money..........

What accessories you looking for? I may be able to do a special price for you ( The Large One is also another good contact for cheap accessories)  If it ain't got 4 wheels, Don't Bother.

Ebay can deliver on this - found several Land Rover employees who seem to have acquired chrome parts and sell them on fleabay,thats how I got my chrome mirror covers. They also came with all the landrover cleaner,adhesive & destructions too!!!
Best tatic is to get them just after they are listed and make a sensible offer - usually the auction ends pronto!!
For tailgate & window chrome strips u just missed mega bargin @ Lidl - they were doing 21mm & 7mm rolls for £9.99 each. This is what I have and its lookin and stayin lookin good. I do not have enough left otherwise u could have had that.
See Shiney Moose's posts also - he like his bling and think he got some from Halfords.
