Call me cynical if you like, but this and the other penalties handed out to Hamilton this season are political decisions designed to stop him running away with the title and robbing F1 fans of an exciting climax to the season.
I seem to remember a similar string of decisions going against Schumacher when was running away with it one year. 07 Silver TDV6 XS Manual + Tubes, Tints, White indicator repeaters, Xtreme H7s, LR dog Guard and Valeao Windy-Wipers

I signed the petition too. I was number 8580. I am not sure this will help but it was a nice fight on the end and Hamilton deserved to win. Roel

Assuming McLaren's data proves their point (otherwise why submit it) then naturally I would assume the FIA are being arses again.

I feel this is one decision too far really, the GRIM REAPER for F1. Always shrouded in controvesy. Who knows what the truth is from last year, but Maclaren took it on the chin, 50m fine, nil points and the smallest pit garage in the worst position.
Ferrari got NO fine, the title, 1st Pit garage and all the decisions.
When I tell off my daughter for probs at school (gladly not often), I always say it takes two. So why is Alonso, Pedro la Rosa driving. The punishment for last year should have stayed last year, a years ban for them two drivers.
The only reason why Alonso, the main culprit is still driving because he is Raikonnens replacment next year, so Ferrari will do anything to upset the runnings, sway decisions.
Hamilton has deep grained natural skill, if he were in a Ferrari, Williams, Renault he would still be up there. Even in a force india he would embarrass the big teams.
For a driver like Hamilton to still be at the brunt of punishments is really the FIA trying to make the season end exciting, down to the wire. Otherwise he would already be the champion PERMANENTLY IN THE SITE NAUGHTY CORNER

I'm 13858 and voiced my disapproval.
But being a Kimi fan for many years, have had to adopt the Ferrari banner.
What i'm about to say, will not go down well, but I think it must be said.
Hamilton had the race in the palm of his hand, and he knew it and screwed
it up on the first lap. In the final laps he had Kimi done for speed, why the
dumb move in the bus stop, he had the rest of the track to pick his spot.
I love balls to the wall racing, but brain fade needs to be sorted, no matter
who you support. Tdi 130 conversion-full house, Disco 2, Freelander, D3 bullbar-spots-roof rack with spots-ladder-long range tank-swing out spare wheel carrier- upgraded tow bar-dash console-internal water tank-duel awnings-drawer system & T T.
