The UK summer, MET Office predictions and Global Warming

http://wattsupwiththat.wordpress.com/2008/...-forecast/

According to simple experiments with CO2 using absorption spectra show the 'king idiots at IPCC overestimate the warming effect of CO2 by a factor of 80. The IPCC counter arguments treat the honest Dr. trying to understand the real world as if he was an idiot who would never understand the "new physics" they've invented. The new physics is so complicated that it can never be proven by good old fashioned practical experiment.

Charlatans the lot of 'em and they have the cheek to call any scientist that even slightly questions their models, like show us the math please, "Deniers".

long winded boring but for completeness, reactions to Dr. Hugs paper http://www.john-daly.com/zipfiles

The IPCC is consuming billions that should be better spent elsewhere.

Its a replacement for the old Cold War... don't worry, apparently a new one is on its way and the press will be consumed with that for a few years.

It's ALL about the money... isn't it always. The only way to ensure decent funding for research at the moment is to insert "climate change" into your proposals, a principal that the Met Office has grasped all too well.

I could go on but I suspect I'd get my wrists slapped!
'Ner Ner' Bonatti HSE... Ah yes, a vintage colour!

a simple question from a simple person, but given our collective intelligence, why cant we just split (separate) the CO2 into C (carbon) and O2 (oxygen), giving more Carbon to burn and more Oxy to fuel it.

If this works, you heard it here first- OK.

Combining CO2 with water using sunlight to make diesel is what we need. Can already grow biomass and use Fischer-Tropsch process to make diesel (Biomass to liquid, liquids easier to use than carbon).
