Driving around SoCal and AZ, I'm always looking out for any LR on the road.
Can't help but notice that I still see way more D2s, and even D1s, than LR3s.
On a recent 500 mile trip back from AZ, I must have seen half a dozen D2s, but only one LR3.
Out in AZ (Sedona) was the same, lot's of nice D2s, and only one LR3 all week.
And when I'm driving up to LA, It's an event to see an LR3 on the freeway!
Is this just my part of the world, or are the LR3 sales really that low? 08 LR3 SE - 02 D2 SE7

There are a lot here in the SF Bay area, as well as Range Rovers, particularly the Sport model.

No shortage of RSS in SoCal - especially in LA!
My local stealership says that the RSS has saved them in these times of high gas prices.

no short supply of LR3's here in Charleston, SC. I see at least 4-5 every day. But then again, small city with a LR dealership might have something to do with that. 2007 LR3 HSE | Stornoway Grey | 4.4 V8

Me thinks you have answered your own question. Remember there is no 'i' in disco3.co.uk

I don't see very many in Virginia, D1/D2/RRC are much more common here. When I lived in Florida though I spotted LR3s all the time. I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?

We have quite a few LR's out here in CO. Quite a hefty mix of RR, RRS, and LR3s (Disco3) mostly, although you're starting to see the LR2 (Freelander 2) out and about now as well. Grab a sticker from the site, slap it on your D3, and join in the sighting fun!

its hard to spot the LR3 in the states. Most 4x4 drivers are REDNECKS in 4x4 pickups

MacLeod 313 - you're really not a very good advertisement for Scotland are you.
Or are you really a short, ginger haired drunk, with no job, bad teeth, and an overpowering need for a bath?

Let's not forget that the US is the 2nd largest market for LR behind the UK. Granted we do have some crazy rednecks, but the same holds true in the EU as well, with your toyota fanboys
Cheers!

we are both factual, yep alot of Scots are like that..............................and as for Rednecks, yep thats true too. My mother and Stepfather live in Somerset Kentucky, nr lake cumberland. Georgous part of the staes, but very spoilt by the Rednecks and Wetbacks
Additionally I got married May this year, and took the wife on honeymoon to Cancun for 10 days, 1st week was great, second week awful. How do Yanks call it, RETARD WEEK. The pool was FULL of REDNECKS wearing hunting caps with fishing hooks in them, using ALL the floating beds as poolside bars, using their plastic cups with tissue in them as SPIT cup for chewing tobacco. I even caught them taking pictures of 4x4 Pickups and not the scenery. THEY NEVER EVEN GOT OUT OF THE POOL TO VISIT THE TOILET.!!!

Mac you need to learn the difference between a redneck and hillbillies/trailer trash/white trash. You're right, the states are scattered with the latter, but there's nothing wrong with rednecks! I rather throw back some whiskey around a campfire with them than sip frou-frou drinks with the city slickers any day
Wetbacks do come in handy sometimes. Pick 5 up at the Home Depot, they'll work like horses, but a lot cheaper I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?
