Hi am pretty new to the forum but just wanted to know if anybody in Aus has picked up a 09 spec d3 ,I heard a rumour that a few have been sold in perth, but was told that I cannot pick mine up until the 1/10. as that is the national release date, Just wanted a bit of ammo to go back to the dealer with to see if I can speed up the process.as I,ve been drooling over this forum for too long, also has anybody got some pics of an 09

Alto in Sydney said they have just prepped a couple MY09s for sale. They also had the HIACE stereo in as standard. So they are coming through as MY09s now. Getting there is half the fun
TDV6: Adaptive Headlights, Electronic Rear Diff.ARB Bar.Blaupunkt Speakers, JVC Powered Subwoofer, Removable Snorkel, Mitchell Bros Tow Hitch, Pioneer After Market Head Unit, Zenarc Touch Screen, In Car Laptop.

I got mine just over 3 weeks ago, and I saw another one on the road some time last week too so it seems a rumour to me..  MY09 Stornoway Grey

Still selling MY08s off the floor but orders from factory arriving now are MY09s. Getting there is half the fun

Glen, My MY09 SE was delivered first week of Sep in Brisbane. It arrived on a boat in Brisbane in mid August and took a couple of weeks to clear customs etc. I ordered back in early May.
Mine is Silver, but having now seen SY328's pics I wish I had got Stornoway Grey!!!
The 'old' grey wheelarch moldings helped balance the car and reduce its apparent height - silver used to work well with them.
Now looks a bit top heavy and slabsided (at least in silver).
Will post some pics soon.
What colour and spec are your getting?

ordered mine the same time, is a white se. Sort of crossing my fingers that its going to look good,white is a easy colour for me as i live in the country,also mine arrived in Brisbaine last month but was only shipped down on the 16th of sep and will be delivered tomorrow,dealer still insists that he could'nt get it any early as landrover wouldnt release it, maybe it was a S.A thing as there might be to many white ones still left. doesnt matter now as long as i get it tomorrow as ive got to go to phillip island early next week

Personally I preferred Chawton White when it was a colour option - not so 'white'

thanks for the link, buying a turbo diesel,have had diesels before and do a lot of heavy towing.Unfortunately the trade in car was'nt upto the task 2001 nissan patrol(say no more)!Answer to catwiesels qustion Robe SA.
