Hi Guys,
I have a problem that i thought was fixed (twice). I seem to be getting a seat belt charm that goes off whenever it wants to and for no apparent reason. The dealer thought it was a faulty passenger seat sensor. It has been changed twice and yesterday it went off again 3 times, each time a quick beep and no fault recorded on the dash.
Has anyone else experienced this before and know what is causing this to happen.
I don't think the guys in service have any idea as to what the fault is, i think they may come back with a don't know response.
Any help is appreciated on this one.

Thanks Bodsy, it happens when people are sitting, also when nothing on the seat, its just completely irregular, its going to be hard to pinpoint thats for sure, unless someone has experienced the exact same thing.

Sounds like it could be a bad connection. Rapid intermittent circuit starting and stopping the chime at odd times. I am assuming the light comes on the dash at the same time. Getting there is half the fun

nope no light on the dash, its like it doesn't have a chance to register through the dash, but makes the chime.

Why do you think it is the seat belt chime? Could be connected with the keys in ignition (door closing sensor?) or another warning chime. Getting there is half the fun

Ask them to check if there were any fault codes logged. If they checked after the service they would have cleared them. Getting there is half the fun
