Posts in that linked thread indicate he's asking too high a price for it so hard to see how anyone can "help"... Cheers

My Brother lives in Vancouver and has been looking to buy a US LR3. If the price was comparable to market values he may be interested. Duncan

Generally speaking, the price is dictated by the local market. The problem right now is you can go to the local dealer in my area and pickup an MY 08 D3 SE V8 (no nav demo model) for $36,000 US. So trying to sell an 05 for $20k in some markets can be a tough sell. The other issue is his mileage on the vehicle is high for the price. His best bet is to actually sell this outright with a private sell. If this was CPO'd or had an extended warranty, he'd get a lot more mileage out of his sale.

The best suggestion I would give hime is to go to a Carmax dealership. They will only take it of of him for trade-in value, but their selection of vehicles is huge and he can deal on the new vehicle. "A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part"
