just booked my beastie into Hereford LR for 60k service, quoted £238.82 all inc. Seems a decent price to me.

cost me £420 for a 36K service for a Defender from Hereford Land Rover. now for a basic vehicle i think that's a rip off.
was the all in price including VAT? despite them saying that it was all in the on the phone, they pulled the VAT one on me too... they also had to order a drive belt and then charged me £74 to fit it. I'm Powered by........Diesel

I seem to rmeber the service element was about £220/30 but by the time oil, filters (I seem to remember the fuel filter alone was about £60) compulsory not needed screenwash and environemntal stuffand VAT were added on it was around the £500 mark really ought to change this.........

Lads anyone tell me :
What are the items looked after/serviced/changed for each particular service interval ?
What is covered in an A , B or C service ? Don't take life me too seriously ..... it's I'm not permanent
