Look forward to it - if I was you I'd be counting down the sleeps until Tuesday
It's a great vehicle, and you'll love it I'm sure. Mine's an early 05, so one of the first to be made, and whilst a few things were corrected early on, it's brilliant. Goes anywhere, carries (and tows) anything, looks great, good economy (32 mpg). And if you've got any questions, just do a search on here and you're sure to find the answer
All vehicle forums highlight the negative points, but look at this forum most days and most of the threads are waffling on about mundane stuff, as we haven't got anything serious to talk about (I'll get flak for that comment, but you know what I mean!) D3 TDV6 S 2005 - TorqTune, Privacy Glass, Remote FBH, 19" HSE Alloys, Boot liner, retrofit F&R PDC, RAI
Defender 90 Truck Cab TD5 2003 - Ifor Williams back, alloys (SWMBO's toy - well, one of them )
Toyota Yaris 2008 (SWMBO's company shopping trolley)

There's more talk on here about the Bolt on Modifications than reliability to be honest. I would'nt worry at all, if its from LR it will have a warranty anyway, if not and you are still worried get it checked out or an aftermarket QUALITY warranty.
Just enjoy the D3, she will not let you down. PERMANENTLY IN THE SITE NAUGHTY CORNER

I have had mine nearly 12 months and so far I have had 1 minor breakdown and 1 small warranty issue, which is much better than the last 2 discos (D2's) and far better than the Rover group products I have owned from new.
It's some of the dealers you need to watch Silver TDV6 S with sat nav, PTI and Moosed up a bit

Yes, it's the shoddy dealerships that let the brand down. I have had dealing with Barretts of Ashford / Kent and Nick at Yeovil, both are great and offer a great service. But look up the threads on dealerships as some are awful and really are doing the brand injustice.....
For serviceing always Price Match, Pm Nick aka "THE LARGE ONE", he will help you for parts, bolt on's, servicing etc PERMANENTLY IN THE SITE NAUGHTY CORNER

This is the second D3 i have had the present being 12 months old now and have had no probs with it. My first was on a 55 plate and i must have been lucky as i had none of the early problems. Mind if it gets a problem then the dealer gets a call to sort it.
Quality motor and gives me the permagrin everytime that i drive it and the stares that you get off other road users whilst is good.
Just enjoy the experiance of owning one of the finest motors out there. MY08 JAVA BLACK HSE, Loads of black bits added.
