Today as i was entering a round-a-bout i hit the accelerator and the car just seemed to pause for a couple of seconds before it engaged kick down or the appropriate gear. As you can imagine it was a bit of a moment. Has anybody experianced this before and any idea if its a fault developing and i will be needing to get the D3 checked out. It was a bit un-nerving for a 5 series driver that was bearing down on me as i seemed just to sit there crawling forward into the round-about before the power kicked in. The lag is quite noticeable now after a recent service. Maybe will just have to put up with it. MY08 JAVA BLACK HSE, Loads of black bits added.

You could be right there mate, might need to re-teach the box and also stop swmbo from driving the D3.
Not much chance of that though. MY08 JAVA BLACK HSE, Loads of black bits added.

Tanters no petrol has been put in by mistake by swmbo as she does the norm that all swmbo's do and that is to leave it to me to fill it up.
10 would love to get the remap done tomorrow, but will have to wait and sneak it under the radar of swmbo perhaps at the end of Nov beginning Dec when she has calmed slightly after the latest Mods that has been done. MY08 JAVA BLACK HSE, Loads of black bits added.

Remap makes a world of difference..
Misconception that its all about power but the things like no flat spot make it a stunning enhancement that the D3 really benefits from.
Mines Turbochip but TFCs comes highly recommended by everyone,,,,,,,, TDV6 HSE - Light Guards - White Reflective Sticker & that something extra
No Jetboil (yet) Edit: Jetboil now arrived, whoopie!!

I have read quite a bit on here ref the 'software upgrade' and it is quite high on my list of things to get for the D3. All that i have read on here has been positive and as said enhances the motor.
I reakon that 10 will be getting a plea from this direction but not quite yet. Have also got other things that i am interested in getting done but patience is the order of the day. MY08 JAVA BLACK HSE, Loads of black bits added.
