Don't they just!
They use more forward facing cameras here than rear facing ones, and I go to work on a bike.
Nuff said !
Sorry about your misfortune though

Unnecessary quote removed
Ex biker myself but it does seem strange to me how a forward facing camera can be legal? If say it was a camera that only took pictures of men and not women I'm sure that would go down like a turd in a swimming pool. Is that your head or as your neck been sick?

I'm not sure how they're legal on safety grounds. The flash could easily make you drive off the road!
... unless the idea is that you shouldn't see the flash since you shouldn't be speeding, and if you were speeding, then crashing is the punishment!

In Germany all the camera's are set up to get you from the front so they can identify who's driving. That includes the wheelie bin ones and the ones mounted in the bacl of estate cars. MY08 JAVA BLACK HSE, Loads of black bits added.

I expect it's OK there since German bikers probably don't speed
We have the ones that use a hole cut in the tailgate of an estate car, but no wheelie bins versions (yet!)
Anyway, the fixed ones are not such a risk here as the mobile laser guns, which have got me in the D3 a couple of times Got off so far though!

Say it wasn't you, and you were nowhere near the place where the picture was taken, it must be a reg cloned disco. However, by showing your reg plate here, you are leaving evidence behind that you were indeed the driver for the offense and it might backfire. Even worse, you are giving reg plate cloner a good number to clone for a Disco3..... emmm. not wise.... suggest remove the pics.

The Police have to post and you should receive it at your address within 14 days. If you do not receive it with 14 days then end of case.....
But
The fact that you moved does not mean that it was not received at your address within 14 days. The fact that you moved is not a defence, but the reason you receive it within 14 days is so you can remember doing it in the first place!
Also the Police only have 6 months to bring a prosecution or it times out. 6 months and 1 day is too late.
Rear facing cameras don't show who was driving so the camera position does not really make a difference, you should know who was driving YOUR car at that time.
But with the fact it was in June I would suggest you have a defence that you can not remember due to the time scale.
I would opt to go to court and explain to them why you don't know. Hopefully in these circumstances they may just drop the case as long as you are reasonable about it!
Did you make every effort to change your address as soon as possible on the V5 for your vehicle?
If so then there is another excuse, but if you left it for 3 months before informing DVLA then that is really your fault as it is your duty for which you can be prosecuted for failing to do so to inform DVLA to any change in ownership/ address etc.
If you say you were driving and it turns out to be your wife in these circumstances I'm pretty sure you would not be charged with attempting to pervert!!!
CPS will only charge people with that offence if they give false details in our force and are charged with the offence under that false name. If they give false details and get taken to the station where you spend 6 hours trying to find out who they are but do so before the person is charged with an offence CPS will only run, Obstructing a Police Constable, which is nothing really.
So the chances of CPS doing you are near 0 unless you upset them or you are a Police Officer in which case they would do you to make a point!
Good luck 2006 TDV6 S Auto, Buckingham Blue, for the wife.
2006 Audi S4 Avant Quattro, Phantom black 4.2 V8 for me and the dogs.
