SN I think you're doing the RRS a little injustice. Yes the 2 cars are built on the same basic chassis but there is a lot more to the RRS - drive one and then the other and you will appreciate the difference, but is it worth the extra £'s? I think it is. Slowly building a silver G4 RRS!

To be fair, I had Yeovils RRS, yes it was the TDv8 but I actually quite liked it.
Personally I wouldn't have one as I need the space in the boot & the extra seats from time to time, but it did handle very well on it's 20" rims. Ride felt certainly stiffer than the D3.
Would I have one? Yes, Would I pay the extra for a FFRR only if money really didn't matter.
Just my twopenneth
At the end of the day, you'll choose what you want to choose, you've still love it it! It's got a load of black bits on OK!!!

Been there today to tie up the deal I thought me and Barry have been working on, much to SWMBO's annoyance.......
darrind aint allowed to answer this, cos I told him, but how much do you think in the end he offered for my D3.....Now remeber this is the D3 he sold me on the 19th April this year for 29k, and has since only covered 2069 miles in 6 months of ownership.........
15.5k px against the RRS, and thats with ALL the modifications left on, guess what i said

I actually thought he was joking, did the usual trick with disappearing to the sales managers office to ask, and then upped the Px price to 15.5k......tosser...
In punishment I demanded the NEW windscreen to be fitted to the D3 next week. When I collected it I found a small chip in April with a tiny crack, they said it could'nt be repaired at the time, so on the PDI I got it underwritten that if it went within the year they would replace it, swift punch in frustration at RRS and now he is sorting it.....................
Still charging me an hours labour to remover the RAI and replace for the screen to be done. Checked with Autoglass, and RAC screens....removal and replacing RAI is NOT included to screen replacements PERMANENTLY IN THE SITE NAUGHTY CORNER

A lamentable tale......... I have to say, I was thinking maybe he'd offer you 20k ish, but this is really taking the pish. Still, you've done the right thing Mac, hang on to the D3, it's just not worth chucking money away is it?..........BTW couldn't you take off / re fit the RAI yourself, can't be that much to it surely.
