Well this is the daddy of lanterns for D3 camps and overland trips.
http://www.musikick.co.uk/Items/1296_34072
175Watts of light output. Usually sell for upwards of £70.00 I can get a few for £49.95 each if anyone is interested - found a friend who has ordered 1 box (10) instead of 1 (singular) Says it will take him for ever to sell in the shop, did I know anyone who may like a bargain

Good try. TFC I will gauge interest over the next couple of days. If it's just two I'll buy 'em and you can settle up with me. If it's more then I will do a bit of a group buy
Excellent bit of kit, wanted one for a while but not at £90.00 "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

I have one of these - they are brilliant in the Winter as they get very warm.
Is that right Ray you can use diesel? or was you just pulling our legs.
Cheers

Not for that sort of output running at 12v it's not. Also no heat output to warm the tent !!
But a head torch is a must too "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Those camping lamps are very nice but I don't need one now because I've fitted one of these in my D3
