She is coming bcak to me. Nick what would you guys charge inc sensors?
Maybe I should just order the parts and walk into a normal garage - the stealer is filling me with Fear Uncertainty and doubt - ohhh you have to update the computer system ohhh yep mate...
sssssssh, what just like me, pads from nick, fitted by my local tyre / brake specialists £48 ph, however, make sure your wear sensor indicator on the dash isnt illuminated othwerwise you'll have to take it to the stealer for the ecu to be reset!

No, it resets itself once the sensor is changed. cheers for that bit of info, changing my pads next week, when I changed them last time the local stealer said over the phone that if we changed them AFTER the low level light had illuminated without changing the sensors then we would have to bring him in to have it reset

Don't forget, that if your car is already in the garage, up on a ramp, with the wheels off (ie for a service), and you get a call, you shouldn't be being charged the same amount of money you would be if you just drove in and asked them to change the pads!

More than happy to fit discs and or pads with sensors, our labour charge is £110.00 plus VAT, we would rather supply the Genuine parts but if you have your own we will still do the job.
Why not do tyres and discs, pads and sensors alltogether, would be more convenient and less down time for you, we keep all the popular tyres in stock.

Still £60-ish PH, 0.9hrs for front and rear each. Can get that at a main dealer on Allegiance rate if your D3 is over 3 yrs old, with discount on parts... Not trying to put anyone off coming to you, sorry if it seems like that
Time to start doing homers methinks

We offer a service to the owners who can't do the job themselves and feel we give value for money.

Our 08 model HSE sensors have literally just come on at about 28000 miles.I assume it then means replacing the sensor wire as well now. If lets say they come on at 75% worn, whats left, a couple of thousand miles or so? Just trying to gauge what wear is left, as the car is going in for the petrol flap mod, and the dealer I'm sure will bring it up.
Anyone on here care to quote me for supply and fit front pads and or front /rear?Would rather give it to someone on here if poss. We're in Chelmsford, Essex.

When the light comes on, you have approx. 1000 miles left, depending on driving style etc
