Many thanks to all who have replied to the survey so far. Your comments have been very valuable to us. For those left to reply, please do so as it will help us plan future events.
One theme in the feedback was a number of you wanted something more challenging, however in a forest this generally requires using more unmanaged tracks which comes with the added risk of more overhang trees etc and potentially some bramble rash.
If we had managed to find more tracks like the optional ones but made them part of the normal route would this have satisfied the need? How would people have felt if we had just used these types of routes?
We had a hard time planning this event trying to get a balance between not damaging the vehicles and offering enough to meet everybody’s needs and expectations.
Thanks,
Ian

For my part, I could happily have done a whole day on tracks like the optional one on the southern route.
More time in the quarry would be good too - are there more quarries available to spread us around a bit?
And the overhanging firs were fun too - even if I did have to get out to reattach my radio antenna twice.

I can't make the May outing That's the day my car is being used as a wedding limousine
I wonder if I can persuade the bride to go to/from the church in SWMBO's Smart car. Now there's a thought - it is a forfour after all I could always be back in time for the reception 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE auto, Bonatti Grey/Tan Leather, Turbo-Chip re-map, FBH timer, BAS EGR blanking kit, Mantec protection plate, Vredestein Wintrac xtreme tyres, RLD Spare Wheel Protector, FaultMate FCR

Bit awkward - the weddings in Darlington, a 2 hour drive from Kielder. Gave JKP lots of dosh on Sunday too so I can get the car spruced up to wedding standard. Don't want to mess up the nice shiny finish. I'll just have to wait for the next outing - I'm sure there'll be others 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE auto, Bonatti Grey/Tan Leather, Turbo-Chip re-map, FBH timer, BAS EGR blanking kit, Mantec protection plate, Vredestein Wintrac xtreme tyres, RLD Spare Wheel Protector, FaultMate FCR

Only cos those with side steps fitted opted out of the mud ruts section
I didn't lose my mud flaps on that bit so I'm glad I forgot to go to all the effort of taking them off 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE auto, Bonatti Grey/Tan Leather, Turbo-Chip re-map, FBH timer, BAS EGR blanking kit, Mantec protection plate, Vredestein Wintrac xtreme tyres, RLD Spare Wheel Protector, FaultMate FCR
