Hi guys can anyone shed some light on xeon headlights, i have been looking on here for help but havent got want im after. My question is, I would like to upgrade my normal headlights to xeons but want to know if any looms or other parts would be needed, found information on xbc500052 and says its ok but these arn't adaptives. would the xbc50012 adaptive ones be a straight swap? can anyone help or have you done this?

Either adaptive or non adaptive will work, although adaptives will only be correct if they've been taken off a D3 when level. The "correct" fitment to upgrade your halogens is non-adaptive xenons. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Sorry Martin, but that is just I've adaptive's fitted and the level is just fine - and I've moved the bulb holder and put it back to a position that looks right - and had them checked at my local MOT garage before the MOT test and they were fine - and they went through the MOT the other week.
People worry too much about fitting adaptive's, thinking they will move - I've off road a few times and they don't move.
Corner lights are cool too - though a complete waste of time, unless it is really dark Mark.
