How are folk doing finding a bed for the night?
I'm considering booking a room (2x beds to get a room to yourself) at the YHA and slumming it £30 is more bearable if I have to cancel. For my need it's fine - very cheap (£30 for a room or £10 for a bed), right in the centre of Kielder, parking and food. And if we're all meeting at the pub in the evening then my bed will probably be the only room in the place I'll see. DISCO3's Student Correspondent...

There is a fantastic self catering cottage near Kielder that I know
Its in Corbridge (about 20 minutes drive south of Kielder), which is a very pretty village with loads of pubs and restaurants (including one of the best Indian restaurants in the country). The cottage sleeps 4 (in a twin and a double) and has offroad parking for 2 Discos.
There are some fantastic green lanes in the area and I will happily provide a map or even a guided tour to anyone who books the cottage (either on the weekend of the 18th or any other time).
The website is at www.edencottage.net
Week commencing Friday 16th January costs £245 or we could do a weekend booking for say the 16th, 17th and 18th for £125 (which works out at around £10 per person per night).
Here is a photo of the cottage :
Alternatively, we live quite close so tin tents or campers welcome to pitch up here and use the creature comforts in the house.
Give me a shout if you have any questions Disco 3 TDV6HSE auto
