| Dragons' Den anti-misfuelling device reduced |
|
There have been a couple of attempts to get a group buy going on these, but to no avail. I've had an email to say they're now reduced in price to £45 inc p&p if anyone's interested?
http://www.misfuellingprevention.co.uk/buynow.asp Please take a ticket and make yourself comfortable. I'll be along with a sarcastic comment shortly.

Got one too, and agree with you. SO slow to fill but the added security that SWMBO will not mis-fuel. Actually come to think of it, she will never fuel up our cars, tis my job. CLUB Serviced by TFC - Offroad Essentials

Yes you are probably right I fill up more often then if I would drive a TDV6. To be honest most big cars in The Netherlands are running diesel.
Regulary I am 3 times a day at a filling station. When I have to go to work in Austria I fill up just over the German border (cheaper) after this I have to fill up around Frankfurt and a quick splash and dash in southern Germany before getting into Austria were the petrol is really cheap.
With a TDV6 I could fill up the day before as diesel is cheaper in Holland then in Germany. Then fill up once in Germany to get to Austria. This is what I did with my Camel.
But you have to drive the wonderfull quiet and powerfull V8 to understand. Roel

that seems an awful lot of fuel mate, and although more noise will be made from my diesel I am sure that running 250 BHP with 575Nm I can't be that far behind in the power stakes A few extra's.....

I had the original MPD from these people (who are nice guys BTW) and it was useless, slow to fill and always splash back.
They recently replaced it with a new version but that was not a lot better.
Its in the garage as I type! .
