Hi Guys,
My front fog lamps have stopped working on my 08 D3 which is a b er as I use them every night on my drive home from work through a forest and it's the only way I can see the raised curbs and pot holes.
I just changed the correct 15amp fuse as per the hand book, but still no joy
Is it possible/likely that both bulbs could have blow? hard to tell this time of night.
Rear fogs still works fine, so i'm guessing that the main switch is ok .
Any suggestions of what to look for or is a trip to the stealer on the cards On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

alright.
I know someone mentioned before that the foglight loom can be worn through behind the bumper and that could be causing the problem. Some have dismissed it but you know what its like on here, everyones an expert
Are they retro fitted ones are from factory? If your in warranty might be worth bringing it back if its the factory fitted ones. A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

Cheers guys,
And thanks for the link Wiggs. Yes they are factory fitted ones. I'll have a proper look tomorrow and if I can't see anything obvious i'll swing by my friendly (not) dealer, they can't be that busy right now. On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

Unless you drive past the dealer, or are technically incompetent, you will be as quick fixing it yourself. Renny Thomson

Repaired mine yesterday and as per the forum, wire insulation worn, repaired with tape, 10 min job, changing the fuse, then stripping the side panel down to retrieve dropped fuse tool and 2 15 amp fuses, tool and one fuse never to be seen again 25 min job

Job sorted thanks,
Stopped raining so I checked the wiring to both fogs, on the near side both the wires were shorting out on a metal bracket. taped them up and everything now working again.
Thanks again for the advice and thread.
