just bought a 2007 se, great car the permagrin is starting to stick! but i have no key for the tow bar(quick release). i hear you guys know how to remove it so i can fit a new lock. i understand why you dont want to put this up on the site so if someone can pm me with the info it would be great. also regarding phone book over bluetooth can i upgrade with a software update!

My car didn't come with a tow bar key either, you couldn't pm me and let me know how to get it off? Also, I've now got a flat tyre and believe there's a way to get the spare off as well. I would do it normally with the winch but my b*tch lost the car keys and the dealer only gave me one set. Is there a way to get into the car properly because I need to get a move on with this now. Thanks.
Also - For sale 4 HSE 19" style alloys with new rubber - looking for a monkey.

Just broke my tow bar key inside the lock.  Any suggestions on how to remove the tow bar (lock) with part of key inside?

Dear all
ASK YOUR DEALER
They will look up your car details and sell you a lock.
HTH
PS if you only have it on, when you tow, then it's fairly hard to loose the Key as it stays in the towbar when off the vehicle
PPS Also harder to have it nicked if it's not on the back of the car "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Without the one key, you won't be going far even with 4 decent tyres will you  Try LR Assist the number is 999 give them the vehicle details - they will be right round  "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Ordered the lock 
Hopefully it will explain itself once I receive the lock. And it will let itself be removed in the locked position with the key stuck in it.
