Key stuck in the ignition - Help Please

Morning All

I need some help please.

I moved my D3 this morning to get into the garage. I turned off the engine and the key will not now return to the right position in the ignition to allow it to be removed. Big Cry Any advice welcome, supposed to be going on holiday in a couple of hours.

Many Thanks
Darren

Try moving gear lever back and forth into and out of park a few times. It may well be the switch on the box isn't making proper connection and so isn't allowing you to remove the key
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

As NS Said + Make sure your foot isn't on the brake pedal.

If Not Get it down to the dealer asap as it's bound to be something similar / easy fix Thumbs Up Have a good holiday Mr. Green

Happened to me on my last one more than once - just make sure the gear lever is pushed into Park as far as it will go - if not, the interlock does not trigger and the car won't let you take the key out
