Dragging up this one again, just found that my right hand side strut was loose - you would have thought the dealer or Land Rover Special Vehicles would have sorted it when it came back from the challenge Evil or Very Mad

Makes me wonder what else they didn't do, me thinks a trip to the dealer for an 'enhancement pack' check in order.

Mine comes loose still. It needs a nip every month or so.

Bow down Wel spotted. I read with interest saying to myself, well that the Uk batch only! Well guess what! RHS strut anchor undone by about 4 turns. Thanks you so much for your observations and your timely communications.

Can I ask what the dealer checks when a vehicle goes in for any reason? As an engineer, I was trained to set very high standards, monitor with precision equipment and be able to spot a gremlin long before a customer could see it. Are "motor engineers" different? Sorry what!

Most thankful Black Brian

Evil or Very Mad Had the car just over a week, opened the tailgate on boxing day and the strut fell off the top mount, the bolt it screws into then fell off inside the bodywork. Evil or Very Mad If the dealers are aware of this problem why the Censored wasnt it checked before i took delivery?! At least ill get to thrash, er I mean try Laughing a freelander 2 while its fixed!

Sorry to hear that you've had a problem so soon into ownership.

You would think that the Dealers should have common problems like this on a pre-sale check list.
