Mmmmm .....can't see hanging baskets in row 3 windows catching on as a modification TBH I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

ISTR reading on here that the standard tint on the D3 is already pretty close to the legal level on the windscreen and driver/passenger windows so not worth doing much to it.
No doubt someone will be along to say i'm wrong I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I think you're right SJR
Over here it's illegal to tint the front side windows. Not sure why anyone would want to tint the windscreen though
When I was in Brazil a few years ago, all of the cars had all windows tinted (except windscreen) - it looks very cool 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Not at all you are right
only factory tint to o/s & n/s front windows and windscreen. If the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, it's because you're a bad gardener.

Its illegal in Belgium and Holland too. I remember from my Belgium days whem I drove a Disco2 and went for the annual check up I had to remove the foil from the drivers and passengers window to get it passed.

Limo Black .
A matehad that done to his RRC. An absolute bitch to reverse at night, unless you like hanging out the side windows. Although it looks , you may regret going for such a dark tint.
Car does look the muts nuts though. Very niceHONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Got mine done in limo black also and it looks great.
Gives the 2nd & 3rd row passengers a cool feeling in this hot weather cos it is darker and cooler as everyone comments on how nice it is to rvavel in the back.
On a recent weekend away to Edinburgh some of the lads almost came to blows arguing over who was going to get the 3rd row seats as it is "cave like" back there.
Also good if you want to camp out in it as no one can see you scrambling about in the back trying to get dressed I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!
IMHO limo black is too dark when compared to driver/pass window which cannot legally be tinted much darker than it is. It make the whole thing look van like.
Looks a good job though

expect a ticket then if they're all as dark as that - rightly or wrongly plod doesn't like them because at some time in the past a motorcyclist got knocked off because someone didn't see him

You mean like this...........
100% tint which cannot be seen through at all - but then, it is a van after all...........
Apparently, it doesn't stand out as much in the FFRR as a lot of them (posh folks) have very heavy tints at the rear, so strangely, my van looks looks less like a van because of this. 8)The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

JMC, I agree with you on that. I was referring to dark D3's.
