ok so I've had a few problems in the past with my D3 but in 30 months and 60k kms. its been to the dealers for warranty work on a good few occasions - Clutch, EPB, EPB, EPB, Brakes, etc etc
But this last month has taken the biscuit.
Three weeks ago driving up a hill and yellow lights appear on the dash, HDC failure - suspension drops. Pull over, stop car, restart all messages gone. Drop car to dealer the following day, They replace the fuel filter as it was dirty......

Last week, parked at new office building for 20 mins, get back in car, restart - lights on dash Engine System Failure, no power i.e. cannot go above 2200 rpm. I was only 2 miles from the dealer so I drove there (slowly), picked up the car 3 hours later, They had had some strange fault codes so they replaced the accelerator pedal (with one from a stock car). Seems ok now.....
now I have noticed that the car is smoking a lot less under acceleration but my average MPG has dropped from 31 to 28 - reckon my TurboChip was wiped as it also seems a bit slower.
If it breaks down again this week I'm buying a Land Cruiser or a Pajero or perhaps a Kia  1993 Defender 110 300tdi - many mods

wierd, based on past experiences regarding the 2200rpm limits and other posts on here, sounds like EGR valves problem 
Hope they've sorted it though now
