That needs a dash mounted button to be used when you realise you're nearly on a revenue-cam and going way too fast Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

Yeah, and get the FBH to work on demand whilst driving...
Might be easier to inject some water into the exhaust, will go to steam and same effect.
Wiggs, you of all people should be interested in a mod like this

if you re piped it, i guess you could use red deisel ? - as its not used to propell the vehicle
whats that stuff the RED ARROWS use to make smoke - perhaps that would work Duncan

Well thats the Smoke bit sorted out, just gotta work on the Mirrors now
Whilst it obviously has such 007 uses, the FBH prime function is designed to be used in the event that the FBH is replaced or worked on / system drained etc.
The upgrade that Wiggs is supposed to be beta testing of course does flash reprogramming, but it also includes a veritable wealth of other sub function features like this on most ECU's. I guess this one works ok
When it is finally released, hopefully not long now as we really now only have a few small last minute bugs to iron out, i will try to post up a list.

Colin, will mine come with the new software
Most HGV's have night heaters (FBH) and as they're not used during the summer you don't know if there's anything wrong until some angry driver tells you he was freezing cold on his bunk (ahhh). Merc night heaters are now controlled by an ECU and you can prime the system, check the glowplug and run the fan at different speeds, so extremely useful for fault diagnosis (and keeping those not so macho drivers snug as a bug )
After a few tests you get the same effect as Wiggs and empty the workshop BTW no emmission controls on FBH so beware of global warming 8)
