New guy here: So...I pulled the trigger.
Let the modding begin. 8)
After months of determining which direction I wanted to go I got a Certified 2007 Land Rover LR3 SE7. Java Black with a Alpaca tan interior. So far, man...I really dig this truck.
First mods I am considering - Kaymar rear swing bumper, rear tail light guards and RSS sliders.
Here she is as of Today:

Hello and welcome to the forum
look forward to seeing the finished model Welcome to the Global Warming Corner.
Looks like you'll have plenty of decent ground to test the car on.

Welcome Biggs
apart from the steering wheel being on the wrong side looks like a pretty good deal you got there
That modded motor is excellent, someone you know or shots off the web?

Thanks mates. I appreciate the warm welcome. I have spoke to nwoods before via ExpoditionPortal.com. Good guy. I cannot wait to learn more about this truck. Can anyone point me to an online downloadable workshop manual? I have always enjoyed working on my own vehicles.
cheers,
B.

Biggs,
That modded LR3 looks like the same one I take my inspiration from. I believe he is on here as well, jwest ( ).
Congrats on the new ride.

Nice purchase! Skip the tail light protection unless you can find them on the cheap. Too much money. The Kaymar is very well made. Cheers!2006 D3 Tonga Green
