Actually, if 9/11 taught us anything, it's that the airlines are reducing the warming effect by introducing high level water vapour to reflect back the sun's heat...

In short, to 'save' the planet we should reduce co2 before we reduce particulate emissions...allegedly.
Personally, I think if we stopped paying all these doom-mongers to spout their evil self-financing prophecies we'd be able to concentrate on what's really killing the planet. Too many people.
Edit : Forgot to mention whilst waxing off topic; Yes, I think this is the Union's death blow to BA. They must be so proud.Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

Average earnings for cabin services directors are £56,000 on long-haul and £52,000 on short-haul. For junior crew, they are £35,000 and £26,000 respectively. According to the Civil Aviation Authority, average costs of BA crew are twice those of their Virgin Atlantic counterparts.

yeah, that's sticking it to the man! Can't beat a good old fashioned pyrrhic victory in the name of social equality. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
