Just decided to do the Clock on Dash upgrade, wasn't too bothered about the FBH light but did forget about the 'Low Coolant' message issue.
B*gger.
Tried to reflash what I thought was the original software, no go.
So, looks like I'll now have to bite the bullet and replace the tank. Does anyone have the correct part number ?? I've seen several sellers offering what looks to be the right unit but at wildly varying prices (£20 - £50) so not convinced they are all the same unit.

Steve, I have just got my Nanocom. What exactly is the issue I might face doing the clock on dash.
Thanks

Hi Barn1e,
Its quite straightforward with the Nanocom, just need to ensure you follow the basics.
The software upgrade not only puts the FBH warning light on when lights are on but if you have an older header tank will most likely also bring the 'Low Coolant Level' message to the display. This message was disabled in earlier versions of the software and the upgrade wipes that out.
5 options present themselves.
1 - ignore the message
2 - return the software to the old version and lose Clock on Dash
3 - disable the tank sensor
4 - Edit your CCF to disable the message again
5 - put hand in pocket (again) and buy new tank. Steve @ AF has these @ £52
IRC - before you do the IP update, you need to do the same for the BCM (did mine a couple of years ago so didn't need to do it his time around).
Just be methodical.
Clear down any codes first.
Read your IPC ECU and use this to source the correct download from Genesis - don't worry too much about getting the wrong one as the Nanocom will not let you flash an incorrect version although you may get the derriere twitch when it first throws all its errors
The flash takes about 10 mins (each) so do make sure you are on a good 12v supply.
I used 8H22-10849-AA
Good luck
Steve
