Not that I know of (and the CCF certainly doesn't suggest the possibility), and by the time you've done that, might you not as well have got the adaptive lights? I dont think you need the ecu for just corner lights. There is one red wire going to pin 4 of each headlight plug from the CJB. These power the corner lights. Im guessing your disco might already have these wires in place as they seem to be on 2005 models.
M3DPO has already enabled the cornering lamps (with the indicators), but is after the "static bending" function when cornering. Current: Discovery 3 06MY (55 reg) HSE Auto Zambezi Silver Allisport Fast Road Intercooler, V8 Brakes, Silicone IC Hoses, EGRs Blanked, Remapped, De-Cat pipe, FBHIC

Definitely no AFS possible on headlight upgrades guys, I tried everything conceivable to get it and it's just not possible on D3' a late D4 may have a fighting chance thoughFFRR SC 4.2

Just to stir up an old post. I've just got a pair of adaptive headlights and fitted them to a base D3. Using an IID I got the cornering lights working straight away with the indicators . Next I want to get the adaptive working and I think all the info I need is on this post. But just a few questions.
Can I be VERY lazy and use a seven core cable (trailer light cable) to run to each headlight?
Also what is ment my the twisted pair are both cables connected to both pins at both ends?
I know not the pair going to the canbus.

Is this a reasonable diy project or do you need An electronic engineering degree to get everything working and more importantly keep everything that is already working, working
Thanks

It is a DIY mod, many have done it. All the info is on the forums. It takes time to gather up all the bits needed. The ECU part number is nnw502652. These are €400 new so grab a used one on flea bay. Separate color coded wires will be needed to make the wire loom. The twisted pair are just 2 wires twisted around each other to cancel out any magnetic interference. The ends go to different pins. Allow a few hours for getting the CJB/Fuse board back into place.

I'm after adding a wire to a plug that currently has nothing feeding the pin. Does anyone know where I can buy these 'silicone sealing plugs' 'pins' and 'plugs'? I've had a google but as I don't know the official names I can't find any.

AFS retrofit Part 2
On the drivers side I cut the wires to length and fitted each with a silicone sealing plug,

I pulled the blanking plus out of the holes and started inserting the new ones relative to my pre made diagram.
Here I left one of the blanking plugs partly in and have pinned and inserted a wires to show all aspects in one shot.

Here is how the rest of the wires look with pins crimped on ready for insertion into the respective holes

And finally all wires inserted
