| Help! Need a Faultmate owner around East Yorks with VE 1.27 |

Hi,
I have updated to VE version 1.27 but I am having trouble trouble updating my Server firmware to 1.18.
Is there anyone in the area running 1.27 who could help me identify if I have an issue with my serial to usb convertor, laptop or Server?
I need to sort it before I can get a BAS remap plumbed in!!

Downloaded it a few days ago. I downloaded and tried the 1.27a version/patch too. Gave a fresh install a go today with no luck but that was with the original download.
I can always download it again if there has been a software issue and try again.

Dont download from the download page  ...get it from Blackbox Solutions Ltd Forums > Vehicle Explorer > Releases
Then get the 1.27a patch from the thred next to the 1.27 release
Someone had the same problem as you ...i remember reading ...and there had been a slight change in the software ..they downloaded it again and all was well *D4 tv tuners for sale .. Pm me for details*

OK, tried that and just the same as before. 
Thanks for the suggestion Wiggs.
I have ordered a new serial/usb adapter in case it is that.
I've started a thread on the BBS forum too so I am sure Gabbie etc will be able to help next week.
I think I will have to video what I am doing and the responses on the server & PC so they can see what is going on.
