Hello all
Hi All,
Just a hello from me as a new owner of a D3-06HSE had it now for about 3 week and I am very happy with the way that it makes me feel. The land of permagrin is mine. It’s had a reasonable run on the tarmac, just last week. Was a pleasure to drive. Family outing with the tin tent. From rainy Banchory, to the rainy Lakes and on to the rainy home land of East Yorkshire and then back via Moffat.
Anyway spent last Sunday cleaning her back up again with the following results.
One thing that is a bit of a pain is that I have no IPod adaptor to play my tunes with on the daily enjoyment trip into the office (not so enjoyable) but the much more enjoyable home run.
Questions:
Are the LR ones any good and what the cheapest that I could buy one?
I have a Dension ICE-Link Plus from a prior car that I could adapt if possible. It fitted between a head unit and multi disc CD in the boot. Is the D3 pre-wired for a boot mounted CD multi-disc box?
Cheers for nowJules

Welcome,
There is an Aux socket on the heater control for the middle seats. I just got a £10 cable to fit in the 12v charging socket and the iPod connector.
Some have integrated it in but for quickness this works for me. Just plug it in and dangle it over the arm restD4 HSE - Aintree Green

Hello jules, welcome to the forum, nice car,if you don't want to buy the really expensive Landrover built in kit for the iPod/iPhone you can buy a jacklead that plugs into the aux input if you have one on the dash or plug it in the rear aux socket below the rear vents which is what I've done, you can't control the tracks from the steering wheel though,I set my iPod before I set off anywhere to on the go mode or shuffle it doesn't charge either but the charge in an iPod lasts for ages unlike my iPhone which also works from the same socket and sounds perfect in the car

Thanks for the response I have the Aux input already but wanted an integrated solution. I have a thing about wires all over. Jules

Very nice Jules.
Just one tip - take the tow bar off, if left on it can seize in the bracket and require grinding off!!
I know this coz it happened to mine, got a new tow bar under warranty -
Nice looking motor, tho Id go for tints with that lovely red!
Enjoy.
