Hi Martin
Just joined your web site so a quick note to say hello. I have owned a 05 d3 hse for 3 weeks now, great car, previously owned a 540i v8 bmw sport touring. these car are at different ends of the spectrum as to speed, but the disco is a superb car. i dont think i could wish for a more complete car. i does everything and my wife loves it. I stumbled on to your web site looking for info on the drivers seat. It had become slightly loose moving just a couple of mm when breaking causing it to squeek on the leather. I read notes on your site, and also asked at local dealer (Hunters of southampton). They told me how to remove squab of seat and to check seat tracks as did notes on your site. I did this today but tracks / frame were all ok, so when fixing seat back in i put a spring and flat washer on torch screw bolts holding seat to frame and this seems to have the cured problem.
Thanks for great site
Alan

Hi from Perthshire
Just moved across from Range Rover Sport territory.....I had three of them.... but now require more dirt friendly transport for my daughters and their ponies
With less than 100 miles on the clock my wife has experienced her first display of warning lights
(reduced power and suspension lowers)
A quick check of your website points me to a Technical service bulletin which states a change of thermostat is required
