Hi all,
Just registered to this very usefull website. I'm a new owner of a DIII since the beginning of july. Still exploring all the features of this wonderfull car. I'm using it to tow, carry my family and work in fields.

Evening all.. I am new to these boards, and am picking up my very first D3 tomorrow morning, very excited too... It's a Cairns blue HSE, (56), privacy, side steps and phone prep etc... Would welcome any advice tips etc on how to get the most from my new toy.. Mostly it will be used to ferry the wife and kids on hols, biking and maybe caravanning (at my age!).. Tomorrow it will simply be driven around for the hell of it.
I considered adding a chrome pack to the mirrors etc.. Anyone got any views or prices on this?
Cheers It made me so angry, I went out and got myelf a dog, just so i could kick it!!!!

Hi all iam new to the forum, only found about it when i was off roading at Tong (near leeds) in my Range rover when i saw a sticker in the back of a discovery3, so i thought well ive got a D3, so i might as well join in, i have 2005 TDV6S in java black, chrome steps and light guard's BUT i have got a silver grill (just like to be diffrent from the other java black D3's about) i bought a couple of years ago, ive had it since brand new and ive had my problems withit but me and my wife love it, we had a TD5 before and i was mint, it was a GS with everything on it and it was fully loaded, in kinversand red, i was quit tearfull when we drove out of Rocar moores with the new one , i still miss it but you just drive the D3 for 2 mins and you just gotta smile anyway enough for now just wanted to say hi.
Colin "IT'S BOURNVILLE NOT BLACK"
"WE ARE STILL DANCING LIKE NO ONES WATCHIN"
TD5 Kinversand red
TDV6 S Java black
TDV6SE Bournville
My other car is a Range rover Vogue SE

Hi, just became the owner of a 2006 Disco TDV6 GS Auto. Bought primarily for pulling caravan (1750kgs), but also useful for work and leisure in the wilds of North Yorshire. Conscience is the inner voice that tells you somebody is looking!

Hello, had D3 for 3 months now, been out in the wilderness for 4 years previous TD90 & Disco 300. Daughter started school, no more nursery fee's what could I spend that surplus cash on, no choice but my D3. After begging the with the wife!
Be interested in getting involved in anything local but in the meantime spend some time touring the forum.
Cheers one and all!
PS Found the volume button, hopefully! To Hell 'n' Back, you'll be needing the Land Rover Discovery 3 then!
